I have. for the hero/hench/party teams I run, patient is a waste of a slot for me. 99% of the time, dwayna's is a much better alternative.

How about using mhenlo and the other monk henchie...

Use those hero spots for something other then monks. I find that the henchmen monks do fine when you have enough dps to take crap down.

I agree, but there are areas/times when I have been with a party of friends and used hero monks over the henchie monks just so I could customize the builds for the areas I was facing.

Mend Condition is in most circumstances better than Dismiss, faster recharge and the heal is only conditional on a condition being removed (which is after all why you are casting it).

Dismiss on the other hand has a slightly slower recharge, and will only heal if the target actually has an enchantment on them (which most PvE mobs will just love to Shatter, Rend, Defile etc etc).

And if your hybrid is removing conditions in PvE, you can bet it's going to be removing quite a few of them.

Carlos gave an excellent build, which would be enough for just one monk hero. Add Mhenlo, and you are covered. Don`t waste hero slots on two monks.

If heroes are most incompetent at one thing, its pre-proting. Therefore Hybrid>Prot monk. However, both run out of energy easily thanks to their flinging of spells in their attempt of keeping red bars up.

If you want good heals and survivability, you should be considering N/Rt healers.
